Description
About the Wine: The Limited Release Apothic Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold red wine with an impossibly smooth profile. Layers of blackberries and black currant reveal a dark fruit presence while aromas of vanilla deliver a silky texture that rolls across the palate, smooth as silk. We carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel vineyards that showcased soft tannins and intense fruit profiles. To preserve velvety soft tannins and deep, saturated color, the Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel were destemmed with marginal crushing. Some of the wine was oak aged for 3-4 months to add a touch of vanilla to the elegant characteristics of the fruit.
